Pursuant to Section 24 of Uttar Pradesh
Electricity Reforms Act, 1999, Section 64 & 86 of the Electricity
Act, 2003 and UPERC (Terms and Conditions for Determination
of Distribution Tariff) Regulation, 2006, Noida Power Company
Limited (NPCL) has submitted its proposal of Aggregate Revenue
Requirement (ARR) for FY 2009-10 before the U. P. Electricity
Regulatory Commission (UPERC). Consequent upon acceptance of
ARR by UPERC vide ist order dated 2nd December 2009 and in terms
of Section 24(7) of the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Reforms Act,
1999, read with Section 2.3(2) of the UPERC (Terms and Conditions
for Determination of Distribution Tariff) Regulation, 2006,
the Generating Companies, Transmission/ Distribution Licensees
and General Public including electricity consumers of Greater
